When to enrol in preschool

If your child turns four on or before 31 July, they are eligible to enrol in preschool that year. Please read below or contact us for information on how to enrol.

Enrolment Information

To begin the enrolment process, families complete an Expression of Interest (EOI) form for the following year. Before completing an EOI, you are welcome to call the school office on (02) 9316 9608 to ask about vacancies and procedures.

In Term 2, we hold information afternoons where families can tour the preschool and learn about our program.

Following EOIs, families are invited to complete an enrolment form and provide relevant documentation. Offers of enrolment are sent out towards the end of Term 3.

Once your enrolment is confirmed, you and your child will be invited to attend orientation sessions and an informal interview to help us get to know your child. Families also receive information about our policies, procedures, and program before preschool begins.

For more detail, please see our Preschool Information Booklet.

Getting prepared

The NSW Department of Education  Welcome to Preschool  guide will help make the start of your child's learning journey a positive and happy experience. It contains handy hints to help prepare your child for Preschool. Additionally, refer to the side bar for our personalised Annandale Public School Preschool Handbook.

After your child's enrolment is confirmed, you will be invited to attend an informal enrolment interview to help us get to know your child, as well as an orientation session.
