Our high-quality preschool program is planned specifically for children in the year before they start Kindergarten. Through an integrated approach of play-based learning and teacher guided experiences, children who attend Banksmeadow preschool learn important skills, knowledge and dispositions for learning that form a strong foundation for their transition into kindergarten.
Our dedicated educators have many years of experience and know the importance of building relationships with you and your child. We want you and your child to feel a sense of belonging to our preschool and wider school community. We aim to develop partnerships with our families with the aim of working together to provide the best possible outcomes and preschool experience for your child.
Our curriculum is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework V2.0 with a strong focus on literacy and numeracy development, social and emotional skills, wellbeing, independence, dispositions for learning, and physical development.
As part of Banksmeadow Public School, we provide a unique opportunity to support your child’s transition into school. Your child will have regular opportunities to visit the school, learn about school processes and participate in some whole school events.
