Stage 2 celebrated the last day of term with a taste of some bush tucker. The students tasted kangaroo and crocodile cooked on the BBQ and preserved quandongs. The students had been learning about some of the traditional foods Aboriginal people ate before colonisation as part of their science unit in term 1. Most students enjoyed the flavours with many returning for seconds and thirds. We decided there was enough to invite Stage 3 to share and even a parent snuck over for a taste. Many thanks to Daniel's mum Nerida who gave up her afternoon to help cook.
